Brandies and Beyond marked Allied Domecqs commemoration of Fundadors 100 years in the Philippines. Allied Domecq also announced the launch of two of its latest products Beefeater, better known as the most popular dry gin, and Diablo, the new dark spirit characterized by a young, adventurous and daring spirit.
The affair was graced by no less than Seymour Ferreira, president of Allied Domecq Philippines, Inc., and British Ambassador Alan Collins who was joined by members of the British Embassy.
Joining Seymour Ferreira were ADPIs marketing director Martin Long, group brand managers Agnes Moulic and Jason Mendoza and brand manager Alan Tecson.
The grand launch drew print, TV and industry figures, major distributors, members of the British diplomatic corps, who comprised an upscale crowd. The attendance reflected the diverse markets that Allied Domecqs products has attracted through its popular brandies, spirits and other alcoholic beverages.
To mark Fundadors centenary in the country, Martin Long announced the production of the premium collectible Fundador Centenary Edition. These are 6,000 bottles of the popular brandy in a decanter bottle containing a special Solera Reserva blend in an elegant, satin lined box accompanied by a numbered certificate.
Hosted by dusky beauty Angel Aquino, Rod Nepomuceno, beauty titlist Colette Centeno and modish Paul Walker, the fabulous launch included a chic parade of models and featured the new Fundador Solera commercial, a 90-second tour de force.
The evening also heated up with a spectacular production number that showcased the characteristic strength of two women who exemplify the romance of Allied Domecqs brandies and spirits: Queen Elizabeth and video game vixen, Lara Croft.
Known as the worlds most popular London Dry Gin, Beefeater is prized for its smoothness. The new Diablo, aimed at the contemporary market, is distinguished for its daring and appeal to the younger generations taste.
Allied Domecqs exciting launch forms part of its active foray into the Philippines diverse markets which, according to Martin Long "is the biggest market for these exciting new drinks."
Seymour Ferreira also affirmed the companys aggressive campaign. He revealed how Allied Domecq recently spent P20 million renovating its massive warehouse containing the companys popular products.
Added Ferreira, "Allied Domecq is quite optimistic about the reception of these two new products. Filipinos discerning tastes will find both Beefeater, the dry gin and the new dark spirit Diablo, the best in their respective markets today."
To Seymour and Allied Domecqs accomplished staff, my congratulations for a spectacular commemoration of Fundadors centenary, as well as the launch of Beefeater and the new Diablo spirit!
