A vision of love

"Believe in your dreams, not in your despairing thoughts, and always look at the world through love." Helen Keller
The beautiful love story of Christian "Chris" Magno and lovely Marie Angelica "Marigel" Corpus began on a seemingly ordinary afternoon when Marigel was looking for eyeglasses. She ended up instead with a wonderful vision of love that culminated in an unforgettable wedding.
In the company of their parents, lawyer Marius Corpus and Elizabeth Corpus, and Dr. Mauro Magno and Luzviminda Magno, newlyweds Christian and Marigel were united at the Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park. Their reception was held at the Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula.
Also witnessing the union were Justice Santiago Kapunan and the Hon. Azucena Purisima; Ambassador Enrique Syquia and lawyer Amelia Ablaza; Col. Victor Corpus and Annette Osmeña; Jose Ong Lim and Mimi Ong Lim; Caesar Corpus and Evelyn Singson; Crisostomo Alejandra and Dr. Ruby Verzosa; Lincoln Yao and Nenette Oben; and George So and Jane Kuan.
Kenneth Chester Corpus was best man while lawyer Caridel Verzosa was the maid of honor. Marigrace Lani Manalo, Sheryll Santos and Anna Lourdes Velasco assisted as bridesmaids.
Lighting the couples path were Dr. Jose Lorenzo Mina Jr. and Maricel Pinly Manalo. Bringing forth the symbol of the union were Vincent Joseph Corpus and Aileen Grace Deticio. Dr. Frederick Magno and Ruth Magno brought forth the veil.
Raphael Angelo Mondragon carried the rings, Marvin Paolo Magno the Holy Book, and Peter Carl Simon Santiago the coins symbolizing bounty. Megan Pauline Magno, Theresia Maria Ledesma and Paula Angela Marie Banez showered the aisle for the couple.
To Chris and Marigel, may you always see each other through the eyes of love, and may your union be filled with happiness for all time. Congratulations!
