Love knows no bounds. Nor boundaries.
Joel Tesoro, the son of Jose Claro "Tito" and Maria Beatriz "Patis" Tesoro, proved this when he wed dusky Indonesian beauty Tania Fajar, the daughter of businessman Ibner and Esmeralda Fajar during the solemn Muslim rites held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Love bloomed between the Yale-educated Joel and Tania, then an Agence France-Presse journalist, while both were covering stories in Medan, South Sumatra.
World-renowned designer Patis and dynamic hubby Tito hosted an elegant Filipiniana- themed post-wedding affair for the newlyweds at the scenic Villa Escudero, attended by the bride’s family.
Among the numerous well-wishers were Don Ado Escudero; Brazilian Consul Carlos Carvalho; Arun Nigom; Consul Gen. Mike Guerrero; Danny Dolor; Raffy Tesoro; Queenie Collantes; Limansyak Iskardysak; John and Alice Suraputra; Michael Lim; and Nina Tesoro.
To our beautiful couple, Joel and Tania, my best wishes for love and in your lifetime. Congratulations!
Zeny Cabral threw another of her colorful theme parties to mark her birthday. This time, the bash recalled Napoleon’s grand imperial parties.
Jun Jun Ablaza jazzed up the InterCon Ballroom with tall topiaries and masks at each table. Family, friends and guests from the diplomatic corps sampled exquisite European cuisine from whimsical menus bearing the celebrator’s portrait.
Zeny and her guests went through three exquisite costume changes. Confetti cannons were also fired during the bash.
It was a night of waltzing for well-wishers Jun and Wilma Palafox; Consul Evie Costa and Brazilian Consul Carlos Carvalho; Myrna Borromeo and Eki Cardenas; Thelma Gana; top couturier Boysie Villavicencio; Sen. Luisa Ejercito; Gov. Baby Ortiz and Dr. Ramon Gustilo; and many more.
