Leading the eminent guests that evening were Tower Club founding governors Bobby Romulo; the dynamic former DOTC Undersecretary Josie Lichauco; CCA Philippines president and CEO Arthur Lopez; and CMC Di Ravenna Asia president and CEO Armando de Rossi.
Soeren Hansen, the tall, sartorial Tower Club Danish general manager and Cyndy Tan-Jarabata, the Club’s astute marketing director joined Tita Trillo in welcoming the distinguished guests.
Among the excellent bottles sampled were a ’97 Laforet Chardonnay, Joseph Drouhin, a ’97 Chateau de Mercey Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune, Antonin Rodet and the engaging ’98 Muscat de Riveraltes, M. Choupatier, all of which perfectly complemented the superb course.
Dinner began with the salad of lobster and scallops with spring salad leaves, followed by roasted seabass and baked Australian beef tenderloin in puff pastry served with glazed baby greens. The enjoyable course’s finale were choices of blue cheese panna cotta and exotic fruits in chilled star-flavored anise.
Events that fete the Club such as the one at Tivoli validates Tower Club’s superiority over the rest. It ranks among the world’s best-regarded private clubs.
CCA International, the same group behind the most exclusive and private business and country clubs the world-over, is the force behind the creation of the Tower Club. CCA’s involvement ensures that the highest standards shall be the Tower Club’s mark of distinction.
It was truly an elegant evening where some of the country’s foremost figures got together to enjoy some of the finest vintages.
