MANILA, Philippines — Robinsons Land Director Robina Gokongwei-Pe humored social media users by posting her photo with toy snakes in Robinsons Department Store.

It can be recalled that there's an urban legend in the 1990s that said that Robina had a twin half-man-half-snake hidden in the fitting room of the department store.

"Look who finally decided to come out of hiding. My shining, shimmering golden twin (with his pretty in pink girlfriend)!" Robina wrote on Facebook.

Robina back then denied the rumors, saying she will give the entire Robinsons Galleria to anyone who would catch the creature.

"Inviting everyone to go there, and nako, if anybody can find that creature, I swear I'm going to give the entire Galleria to him," she said.

"Sawang-sawa talaga ako," she added.

Five years ago, actress Alice Dixson finally revealed the story behind the "taong ahas" urban legend that plagued the fitting rooms of the mall.

"Nothing really happened. Nothing really happened in the way the urban legend or the myth dictates. Kunwari, hindi naman ako nahulog sa trap door. Hindi naman ako tumakbo sa corridor palabas papunta sa hotel," the actress narrated.

"Hindi din naman ako nabayaran ng 850 million, at hindi rin nangyari iyong na-cut iyong pagsasalita ko sa isang TV show when I was trying to explain myself. Those things are all not true," she added.
