MANILA, Philippines - Manila’s well-loved and sought-after style hub, The Ramp Crossings, recently had an intimate fashion show at its store in Shangri-La Mall, where it launched its newest holiday collection and collaborations with designers Ken Samudio and Vince Tolentino, and also introduced its newest brand ambassadors, Tim Yap, G Tongi-Walters and daughter Sakura and Pam Quinones.
General manager Xandra Ramos-Padilla said, “We wanted a stylish set of personalities who actually wear The Ramp even when they’re off-duty; those who can show the versatility of our globally-trendy pieces as they go from one event to another.” And so nightlife navigator and social media influencer Tim Yap, actress G Tongi-Walters and daughter Sakura, and celebrity stylist, Pam Quinones were chosen as The Ramp Crossings’ brand ambassadors. Street-style photography showed the celebrities in their element while dressed up from The Ramp, The Ramp Man and The Ramp Kids Holiday collection.
A permanent fixture at the hottest events and clubs, dominating TV, print and social media, Tim Yap seems to be unstoppable. Of The Ramp Crossings, Tim says, “Stylists, editors and every fashion insider know that The Ramp is the stylists’ mecca. Everyone comes here for clothes for their shoots . It’s my personal treasure trove to get one of a kind shoes, suits and tops. This is where the country’s most stylish shop.”
