MANILA, Philippines - Dads Tim Walters and Paolo Abrera always look forward to Father’s Day since they get to spend it with the family. For both of them, family always comes first.
One of the most recognized personalities and currently a TV anchor in ANC, Paolo Abrera leads a very demanding lifestyle. A hectic schedule occupies most of his days, and Father’s Day remains at the top of his list as one of his favorite no-stress days. “Father’s Day is always a surprise!” says Paolo. His kids normally wake him up to a nice breakfast and everyone looks forward to a fun day ahead. “My wife Suzi also loves to take me by surprise with trips to different places”. And when it comes to his fashion choices, Paolo goes for sleek staples, especially for work. “Since I’m on TV every day, I always have to look presentable. But on regular days, I am someone who likes to try on new things. Layering is one of them. An accomplished businessman and married to renowned actress Giselle Tongi, Tim Walters and his whole family have recently moved back to the Philippines. “Every Father’s Day or Mother’s Day we look forward to lunch with the whole family. I get to choose what we do for the day! We like doing simple things,” says Tim. He also looks forward to adorable artwork that his kids make for him. And with all the unpacking and settling down, one of the biggest things that Tim had to adjust to in the Philippines was the weather. “There were so many pieces in my luggage that I had to keep because these simply wouldn’t work in warm waeather,” shares Tim. So every time he needs to get dressed, he always opts for lighter clothing. When choosing clothes, it is important for him that the fit is right and that the colors work on his skin. Tim continues, “I like to dress up and I appreciate a variety of colors, styles and designers. I’d have to say my favorite would be the Hackett suit because of its fit and color.”
