MANILA, Philippines - Little girls got a regal experience at the recently concluded Barbie Princess Charm School event at Robinsons Manila with each participant being crowned a princess. Dressed in trendy ensembles from Barbie apparel, the young participants enjoyed a day-long affair that included lessons in etiquette, fashion, beauty, and art, with short lectures on courtesy, table manners, basic grooming and personal hygiene. In between classes, they were also treated to nail and body art, and had their pictures taken at the photo booth by Kameraworld. The girls received treats from David’s Salon, Total Girl magazine, Magna Vision and Farmer John Potato Chips.
“Every little girl dreams of becoming a princess,” said Richwell Phils. Inc. marketing manager Cristina Tarre. “But we also want them to realize that being a princess isn’t just about beauty and glamour. We want the girls to learn something valuable from the Barbie Princess Charm School so when they grow up to become young ladies, they’d carry with them the charm and social graces they’ve learned from Barbie. We want Barbie to be part of every little girl’s journey in discovering the princess within.”
Barbie apparel is available at all leading department stores nationwide and at the following Barbie boutique branches: SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, Trinoma, Festival Mall, Robinsons Manila and Glorietta.
