Marks & Spencer swings with the Sixties

MANILA, Philippines - Marks & Spencer goes back to the Sixties for its autumn 2011 Limited Collection print campaign in stores and online. Shot by the iconic fashion photographer Rankin and styled by Wonderland fashion editor Way Perry the campaign showcases three fresh faces from the fashion and acting world; Sophie Byron, Suki Waterhouse, and Louise De Chevigny.

Inspired by the Swinging Sixties, the new autumn 2011 limited collection uses pops of color and edgy design elements to create a sleek and modern London look. Chic a-line hems, traditional to the mod-rock blueprint of the 60s are highlighted in pieces such as the silk block shift with garments like the animal print dress and geometric body-con dress making up to date and trend focused for autumn 2011.

“The new look and feel Limited Collection takes its inspiration from the mid-Sixties, a big trend influence from the catwalk. Pieces such as knitted cape gave youthful twist to a traditional shape making it a must-have wardrobe staple for the season,” says Helen Low, design director of Marks & Spencer.
