MANILA, Philippines - Toys ‘R’ Us marked its 3rd anniversary recently with exciting events and the unveiling of its newly-renovated flagship store in Robinsons Galleria.
The celebration kicked off with a mascot parade led by Geoffrey, Toys ‘R’ Us’ own mascot and the day’s official mascot ambassador. Other popular characters Hetty, Popo, Twirlie and Mr. Yum (of Jollibee)l; Gong and Tsing (of CDO Bibbo); Kids @ Work; Howdie (of Holy Cow); Tom & Joy (of Tom’s World); Ishin (of Nissin) and Curlette (of Jack & Jill Chiz Curls) joined Geoffrey and gamely posed for photos with shoppers.
Singer-actress Karylle frontlined the balloon garland-cutting ceremony while child stars BJ “Tolits” Forbes and Ella Guevarra blew the SpongeBob SquarePants birthday cake from Goldilocks.
Now in its 3rd successful year since it opened its first branch in the Philippines, Toys ‘R’ Us remains the world’s biggest toy retailer.
