MANILA, Philippines - Pangasinan shoppers will get a glimpse at SM City Rosales’s second phase as it opens its doors to the public today, May 15.
Scheduled to open are the mall’s major anchors — SM Department Store, SM Food Court, and SM Cinema — completing the total shopping, leisure, and entertainment experience that SM Supermalls is known for. SM City Rosales’ first phase, including the Hypermarket, Ace Hardware, SM Appliance Center, Watsons, and other retail stores and food outlets, opened late last year.
Located along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Carmen East Rosales, Pangasinan, the 60,989-sqm. gross built-up area is the first SM Supermall in this bustling province. Located on a 121,685-sqm. property, it serves customers in Rosales as well as neighboring towns such as Villasis, Sta. Maria, Balungao, Urdaneta City, Sto Tomas, and Umigan. It also serves customers in Nueva Ecija and Tarlac, and travelers from Baguio City and the Ilocos region.
Apart from the SM anchors, the mall has boutiques like Guess, Bench, Penshoppe, For Me, and Giordano; specialty shops like National Bookstore; and restaurants like Jollibee, Greenwich, Pizza Hut, Max’s Restaurant. It also has telecom and computer stores as well as amusement areas. Other outlets that will open in the second phase include Time Depot, Tribal and YKL, as well as food outlets like Pan de Manila and Chowking.
For customer convenience, the mall has parking facilities for 700 vehicles and is strategically located beside the main terminal for inter-town public transportation.
The construction team of SM City Rosales includes DSGN Associates, mall designers; Jose Siao Ling and Associates, architects; new Golden City Builders, general contractors; and DA Abcede and Associates, project managers.
