San Miguel My Great Food Club marked its yearend show with culinary icons Sylvia and Ernest Reynoso Gala, Gene Gonzales and Heny Sison doing what they do best — cooking and baking for an enthusiastic crowd at the San Miguel head office cafeteria in Pasig City.
The event, dubbed “A Festive and Frugal Christmas with the Culinary Stars,” showcased noche buena recipes like baked embutido, Monterey baby back ribs with lechon sauce and paella Manileña courtesy of Sylvia and son Ernest. Gene wowed participants with delicious cocktail treats such as Chicken larb with caramelized onion, nam prik kapi and fried chilies and cheese Purefoods kimbap while Heny shared easy-to-do food gift recipes such as bottled ragu with Purefoods Fiesta Ham, chocolate cream cheese swirled cake and caramel bar.
The San Miguel My Great Food Club culminating show marked a year of culinary adventures geared towards feeding the hungry minds and palates of homemakers, cooking enthusiasts and budding entrepreneurs keen on mastering the art of cooking.
San Miguel My Great Food Club remains committed to developing not just innovative, delicious, easy-to-follow recipes but also to offering opportunities for business amid the difficult times. Moreover, the annual year-end free cooking demonstration is their own little way of showing appreciation to patrons for their unwavering loyalty and support to all San Miguel Pure Foods products.
The event was sponsored by Monterey, Magnolia Chicken Station, Purefoods Fiesta Ham, Magnolia Gold Edam Cheeseball, San Mig Coffee, E-aji, San Miguel Mills Premixes, Purefoods Corned Beef, Magnolia Gold Butter and co-sponsored by Magnolia Pure Water, Magnolia Fruit Drinks, Smart Bro and Glad Wraps and Bags.
