Going Emo-Punk

Dressed in skull-printed shirts and skinny jeans, the youth may look like they don’t care about the world at first, but Bum junkies are out to prove that teens can do their part to save the environment.

The brand is now using biodegradable plastic bags made from recycled material — the plastic disintegrates within six months of exposure to sunlight and air as opposed to the 20 years that it usually takes ordinary plastic to disintegrate.

But environment-friendly news aside, even apathetic teens will like Bum’s new Emo-Punk collection — and when they choose to wear Bum, they’ll be saving the earth as well. The collection consists of shirts, jackets, printed blouses, and skirts in this season’s hot palette of black, white and gray accentuated by occasional splashes of color.

Bum’s latest Emo-Punk collection is available at all leading department stores nationwide.
