The holiday season is the best time to be with loved ones, family and friends who mean so much to us. Robinsons Malls relives this spirit with the traditional mall décor lighting, held annually in select Robinsons malls.
This year, a 30 foot-Christmas tree, decked with red, gold and green trimmings and laced with thousands of twinkling lights, was the main attraction in the recent Robinsons Malls mall décor lighting event dubbed “Come Home this Christmas” held at the Midtown Grand Atrium, Robinsons Place Manila.
Emcees were the vibrant Nikki Gil with top performers Christian Bautista and Kyla regaling the audience with beloved Christmas carols. The OB-Montessori Angels’ Choir-Sta. Ana also performed song-and-dance routines while guests were treated to homemade bibingka and puto bumbong from Mommy Lucy’s Bibingka.
The event also marked the turnover of donations to the residents of Cardinal Sin Village, Robinsons Malls’ The Gift of Change beneficiary for the past five years. Located in Punta, Sta. Ana, the village has steadily grown with over 500 residents. The high school building is nearing its completion and other future plans include the improvement of current school facilities.
Manila Vice Mayor Ishko Moreno, together with Robinsons Malls general manager Nilo S. Mapa, Robinsons Malls vice president for group property management and Robinsons Malls for corporate lease Minda V. Carpio, led the countdown during the mall lighting event.
