Ornamental fish show today at Tiendesitas
MANILA, Philippines - Various varieties of ornamental fish with their color and splendor, will again leave their spectators spellbound and fascinated when the Philippine Arowana and Luo Han Society (PALHS) unfolds one of its spectacular and grandest fish shows today and tomorrow at the People’s Village of Tiendesitas on Ortigas Ave. Cor. E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave. (C-5), Pasig City.
The event is expected to draw some of the leading ornamental fish keepers of Arowana (Dragon Fish), which boasts of the largest display in the show and Luo Han (Flower Horn). According to Vigilart “Archie” David, PALHS president, one of the highlights of the show is the beauty contest among the Arowana, Luo Han (Flower Horn) Betta (Fighting Fish), Goldfish and Japanese Koi. The main juror is Hendri Leong of Indonesia. Entries will vie for the Best in Show. Judging will be held today, while awarding and drawing of raffle prizes will be on Sept 26. A cash prize of P80,000 is a at stake for the winners. A grand raffle prize of El Kindo Super Red Arowana worth P70,000 will be given away.
