The Philippine STAR and Swatch Year of the Tiger Art contest: Tigers you can watch and wear

MANILA, Philippines - Swatch and the Philippine STAR present more of the entries to the “Year of the Tiger Art Contest.” These works of art are sure to catch your eye and capture your imagination. There are paintings on wood, canvas and acrylic. Sculptures made of plaster, metal and even stuffed toys as a base. There were entries of costumes, pottery, lithographs and even sneakers. All these are a testament to the artistic nature and natural optimism of the Filipino. 

On April 8, the Swatch Tiger Art Exhibit will open at the Swatch Store in SM Megamall. The winners of the Swatch Tiger Art Contest will be awarded and special “Tiger” personalities will grace the event.
