PAWS has also noticed that the stories of pet adopters that their adopted pets tend to be more loving or malambing, and seem more grateful and loyal than the pets that have grown up in their households (who have never known the hard and difficult life). Rescued pets seem to appreciate having been given a second chance at a good life.
