Lustre, recognized by Masungi as an Honorary Park Ranger and environmental advocate, gave her statements of support virtually.
The actress called the proposed cancellation of the 2017 memorandum of agreement between the DENR and Masungi "untenable and a travesty of justice" that would only benefit fraudelent claimants, landgrabbers, and those opposed to conservation efforts.
"We cannot remain passive. We must take decisive action to safeguard Masungi, a leader in global conservation efforts," Lustre added. "Your active involvement and support are essential in this battle. Join us in the fight to preserve Masungi's rightful place in our natural world. Together, we can secure a sustainable future."
Also giving statements of supports were Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Congress members Raoul Manuel and France Castro, environment content creator Celine Murillo, and model-entrepreneur Rissa Mananquil-Trillo.
