Harmony of Lights: Okada Manila ushers in Yuletide season with Christmas tree lighting ceremony
MANILA, Philippines — The magic and celebration of the holiday season officially begins at Okada Manila with the lighting of its spectacular Christmas Tree, serving as the property’s majestic centerpiece.
All throughout the Fountain foyer and Crystal Corridor is a showcase of a magnificent "Harmony of Lights,” featuring an array of colorful lights and holiday accentuations. The event marked the launch of the festivities across Okada Manila.
Whimsical wonderland
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony featured a stellar lineup of entertainment, headlined by "Asia's Limitless Star," Julie Anne San Jose.
The Malabon Concert Singers added to the festive vibe with their repertoire of popular holiday song classics. The Okada Manila Entertainment Group also performed as the opening salvo of the event.
The official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was led by Okada Manila’s top executives, including Wendy Ni, Okada Manila's Vice President for Strategic Marketing, who also gave the welcome remarks.
This year’s stunning 30-foot Christmas tree theme was sweetly inspired by a magical Christmas Wonderland. It is adorned with larger than life confectionery-inspired ornaments such as oversized candy canes, ice cream and cupcakes.
Enchanting Christmas village
Following the mesmerizing "Harmony of Lights" thematic peg, Okada Manila also opened its much-anticipated Christmas Village dubbed as "Home of Wonder” at the Crystal Pavilion.
The ribbon cutting ceremony marking its official opening was spearheaded by special guest, Department of Tourism’s Regional Director (NCR), Sharlene Batin.
The Christmas Village dazzled with a captivating Lights Show and the Interactive Fairy Baubles, an enchanting experience for the guests to enjoy. The showcase includes various holiday-themed installations, from the whimsical North Pole Suite to the delightful Chocolate PLAY House, among others.
Festive shopping and exclusive offers
For a wonderful Christmas shopping spree, the property features the longest-running Noel Bazaar at the Crystal Pavilion from November 10 to December 17 where guests have a generous and endless array of delightful holiday gifts, delectable treats and unique goodies.
Guests are in for a treat with diverse weekly events, including captivating performances by Kapuso celebrities, the famed “Celebrity Ukay-Ukay,” and new merchants joining the festivities every week.
