MANILA, Philippines — A recent session of the Philippine Senate had a light moment among the present lawmakers as they offered a "warm" welcome for Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero.
Senate President Miguel Zubiri even said he called for a "one-minute" suspension of the ongoing session for the joyous turn of events.
Among those who took part in the banter were Senators Grace Poe, Loren Legarda, and Joel Villanueva, with the latter even making a pun involving Escudero's wife Heart Evangelista.
