Philippines tops female viewers, smartphone use on Pornhub; drops to second for average time spent

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines was dethroned from the top spot for most time spent on Pornhub based on year-end data collected by the adult website.
Egypt held the new title with 11 minutes and 12 seconds spent on Pornhub on average, despite a nine-second drop compared to 2021.
The Philippines had a significantly bigger drop of 32 seconds, with an average time spent on Pornhub of 10 minutes and 59 seconds. Philippine users are tied with Japan's average time, which saw a rise of 26 seconds.
In terms of traffic, the Philippines placed at ninth place, with the other countries found in the Top 20 contributed to 79.3% of Pornhub's daily traffic.
Notably, the Philippines had incredible usage on mobile devices as 94% of the country's traffic was done on mobile phones — the highest for any country in the Top 20 — to completely edge out the use of tablets and computers.
The term "Pinay" figured in the Top 5 of most searched terms this year on Pornhub, landing at the fifth spot. "Lesbian," "MILF," "hentai" and "Japanese" make up the Top 5.
As expected, "Pinay" was the most-searched term in the Philippines by a distance, though "Japanese" did overtake "Pinoy" for the second spot; "hentai" and "Korean," which both dropped two spots, rounded up the Top 5 in the country.

"Japanese" was also the category Filipinos viewed most often, joined by the likes of "lesbian," "Asian," "outdoor" and "threesome."
In terms of relative categories, Pornhub found Filipinos were 192% more likely to view the "Romantic" category compared to the rest of the world.
Similar numbers can be seen with "Korean" at 186%, "Behind the Scenes" at 180%, "Asian" at 175% and "Japanese" at 153%.
Meanwhile, the Philippines' Top 5 trending searches all saw an increase by over 200% — leading the charge by a mile was "Pinay tattoo" with 435%, followed by "beautiful Asian" with 295%, then "hot romantic sex," "tattoo artist" and "Pinay delivery boy" in close succession.
Women continued to be the Philippines' more frequent visitors on Pornhub, with female visitors making up 53% after a 1% increase compared to 2021; this was also the highest proportion for women in any other country in 2022.
Age-wise, Filipinos aged 18 to 24 made up 38% of the Philippines' visitors, followed by ages 25 to 34 at 30%, while 35 and above made up the remaining 32%. Pornhub's overall average visitor age remained at 37 years old.
Finally, the pornstars that Filipinos viewed the most were Lexi Lore, Lana Rhoades, Eva Elfie, Mia Khalifa, and the sole man in the Top 5, Johnny Sins.
