MANILA, Philippines — The Christmas season is truly upon us as the World Bazaar Festival (WBF), the country’s longest-running annual charity bazaar, returns for its 19th edition this December.
At WBF 2019, “Experience Giving” like never before as it opens its doors so that we can give back to the people who have made our lives special.
Although the schedule may be shorter than last year’s 11-day run, WBF 2019 promises to offer holiday shoppers an equally extensive selection of high-quality products from both local and international sellers from countries such as Thailand and Africa.
With nearly 843 booths across an expansive exhibition space of 12,708sqm, attendees of this year’s WBF are guaranteed to enjoy a fun and productive shopping experience.
Apart from an impressive array of shopping and gift finds, WBF is never complete without its lineup of event highlights and special zones.
This year, not to be missed is Woobie’s Eco World, a centralized area for various brands that sell only eco-friendly products and services. Over at the Christmas Village, there is a wide selection of Christmas decorations.
As a signature feature of WBF, this year’s Designers Avenue is back with another exciting range of branded apparel and accessories at affordable prices.
Also set to return is the Celebrity Pavilion, where the industry’s hottest celebrities set up their own booths to sell personal clothes and belongings. Apart from shopping bargains, it’s also a great opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with their favorite stars.
Presented in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, the DA Pavilion will showcase the best regional food products across the country–making it an ideal stop for shopping food treats, gifts and giveaways.
Similarly, Woobie’s Goodies offers food items perfect for the holiday season.
For those who need to recharge from all the shopping, Woobie’s Food World has delectable food choices. Visitors can rest and bond with their loved ones over good food and drinks at the dining areas.
Catering to the trend-savvy, WBF 2019 will once again host Bloggers United. The one day shopping event with the metro’s top fashion and beauty bloggers will be held on December 14.
Providing bazaar goers with lots of excitement and entertainment are events such as the Himig ng Pasko singing competition on December 15, Woobie’s Streetdance Competition on December 21, and Woobie’s Kid Idol on December 22.
Staying true to the theme is the Christmas Carol with the Angels. To be held from December 14 to 22, every Fridays and Sundays only, the event will serve as a venue where kids from various foundations and orphanages can showcase their talents thru Christmas carols.
Far from your typical holiday bazaar, the WBF has truly come to play a significant role in making Christmas far more meaningful, memorable and special for a lot of people. With this year’s theme of “Experience Giving,” WBF extends the spirit of Christmas to those who need it the most.
Organized by Worldbex Services International for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation Inc., the 19th World Bazaar Festival will be on December 14 to 23, 2019, Sunday to Thursday (12 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and Friday to Saturday (10 a.m. to 12 a.m.) at the World Trade Center Manila. Entrance to the bazaar is priced at P80.
