Indoor pool club opens in Manila's 'Entertainment City'

MANILA, Philippines — Manila's "Entertainment City" has just gained a new player in its night scene, rivaling the famed Palace Pool Club in Taguig City in scale.

The biggest party club to date, Cove Manila, opened last Friday.

The new party hub with indoor pools is located inside the Okada Manila in Parañaque City. Cove Manila is the newest luxurious indoor beach club by the day and a club destination by nightfall.

 

No less than international DJ Steve Aoki headlined the launching last Friday.

Cove Manila offers party lovers the most advanced audio, video, and ambient lighting technologies—such as Tony Andrews’ Funktion-One high resolution sound system and a unique six-ring kinetic chandelier, which can produce up to 10,000 special effects and choreographed LED video mapping.

The 9,000-square meter party hub also boasts of the view of the Manila Bay horizon. All set inside a column-free, 30-meter, UV-protected glass dome.

Inside Cove Manila is a swim-up bar, a butterfly-shaped pool, and 29 cabanas, each with private hot tubs.

For this month, people can expect the following acts to guest in the night club: British DJ Helena Legend on December 16; two-time Grammy nominated producer and global festival headliner, Dirty South, on December 22; Dutch DJ and music producer Laidback Luke on December 23; Spanish electro house DJ and producer Danny Avila on December 29; Dirty Dutch DJ Chuckie on December 30; and Grammy Best Remix awardee Cedric Gervais at the New Year's Eve party on December 31.
