PNoy among most followed world leaders on Facebook
MANILA,Philippines - President Benigno Aquino III is among the most followed world leaders on Facebook, says social analytics company CrowdTangle.
With more than four million followers on the social media site, Aquino ranks 10th on their list, surpassing the rank of the British Monarchy (16th) and German Chancellor Angela Merkel (23rd), who topped this year's Forbes list of the world's 100 most powerful women for the fifth consecutive year.

United States President Barack Obama's Facebook account sits on the top spot of the list with a total of 45 million followers.
Occupying the second and third spots are the two accounts dedicated to the 15th and current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Damodardas Modi (Narendra Damodardas, 31M; PMO India, 10M).
The recognition comes after Aquino's Twitter account was included on the Forbes list of top five Asian leaders on Twitter.
