Samsung, in collaboration with trendsetter brand Folded & Hung, created the Samsung I Imagine campaign which set the stage for three young students to inspire others with their shout-outs, in style.
The Samsung I Imagine Shout-out Making Contest saw over 10,000 shout outs on the three categories, TALK, PLAY, and LOVE, by students all over the metro posted at the website www.samsungimagine.com. It received more than 60,000 page views, over 22,000 unique visits, and more than 34,000 votes for the favorite shout-outs. The overwhelming success of the campaign is a reflection of the youth’s desire to share their thoughts and feelings to an audience who will listen to what they have to say. Samsung’s efforts touched the hearts and minds of the youth as they posted their shout-outs about nationalism, current issues such as typhoon Ondoy, hopes for the future, the role of music in their lives, the meaning of love, and more.
Making an imprint is Isabela Martinez with her shout-out “I Imagine and I will make it happen,” Guille Francisco with his shout-out “I Imagine the world united in one beat” and Phil Jacinth Dayupay with his shout-out “I Imagine world peace in 3, 2, 1.” Through Folded & Hung, these shout-outs were printed in hip and trendy hoodies, available in black, gray and white. Taking inspiration from the shout-outs, the hoodies are young, hip, and fresh with fun style elements such as vectors, 2D, typo play, overlaps, and a burst of color. You’ll surely want to flaunt it!
The hoodies are sold at Folded & Hung stores in SM Mall of Asia, Robinsons Place Galleria, Unimart, SM San Lazaro, Southmall, Market! Market!, Shangri-La Plaza, Robinson’s Place Ermita, SM Megamall, TriNoma, Glorietta 2, Eastwood Mall, SM North EDSA The Block, and Alabang Town Center.
