MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of the youth’s passions and imaginations, Samsung has collaborated with the purveyor of the hippest trends, Folded and Hung, for the exclusive youth-oriented Samsung I Imagine campaign.

Over 10,000 entries from students all over the metro were posted at the website www.samsungimagine.com and here’s a shout-out for you to create your own and vote for your favorite shout-out! Samsung I Imagine recently held the I Imagine culminating event, awarding Isabella Martinez from University of Sto. Tomas (UST) for her shout-out, “I imagine and I will make it happen” for the TALK category, Guillermo II Francisco from University of Sto. Tomas (UST) for his shout-out “I Imagine our generation united in one beat” for the PLAY category and Phili Jacinth Dayupay from Rizal Technology University for his shout-out “I Imagine total peace in 3, 2, 1” for the LOVE category. These creative students won for themselves uber cool prizes from Samsung and the bragging rights as their shout-outs are printed in trendy hoodies from Folded and Hung.

This ground breaking campaign continues on as everyone who registered, whether to upload their own shout-out or simply vote for posted shout-outs will get a chance to win cool Samsung gadgets! Each registration is equivalent to one raffle entry which will be drawn on December 15, 2009. Up to 500 Samsung I Imagine hoodies, 20 Samsung phones and 20 Samsung DVD players are up for grabs.

Grab your own I Imagine hoodie from Folded and Hung stores in Mall of Asia, Robinson’s Place Galleria, Unimart, SM San Lazaro, Southmall, Market Market, Shangri-La Plaza, Robinson’s Place Ermita, SM Megamall, Trinoma, Glorietta 2, Eastwood Mall, SM North The Block, and Alabang Town Center on the first week of January 2010. Be part of the I Imagine campaign and celebrate this generation’s passions and imaginations!

Understanding the beat of the youth, the categories fall under Talk, for shout-outs that express emotions, ideas, thoughts, dreams, hopes and ambitions; Play, for shout-outs that express how life is experienced through love of music, sports, fashion and the arts; and, Love, for shout-outs that express how bonds are formed with family and friends through shared interests and passions. “On the Radar” gathers the coolest and wittiest shout-outs in this week’s column:

imgainerwin from Polytechnic University of the Philippines says: “I Imagine heroes rising for the fallen.”

phljcnth from Rizal Technological University says: “I Imagine hope is the air we breathe.”
