ALIVE by Mark Nicdao
Top fashion photographer Mark Nicdao unveiled a series of 7x8-foot black and white portraits at “Alive,” a one-man show recently at Greenbelt 5’s Fashion Walk.
Mark’s first solo exhibit celebrates his sixth year in the industry and is sponsored by Viva Mineral Water.
Mark says he was inspired by the work of photographer Peter Lindbergh, artist Caravaggio, and by Dante’s Divine Comedy.
Top stylists Michael Salientes and Pam Quiñones helped him with his vision, with a strong assist from Devi de Veyra, Francis Dayao and makeup artists Juan Sarte, Christine Duque, Leo Posadas, Robbie Pinera, Solenn Heussaff and RB Chanco.
“It’s a big collaboration,” Mark says of the project featuring KC Concepcion, Sarah Geronimo, Regine Velasquez, Richard Gomez, Jericho Rosales, Jake Cuenca, Enchong Dee, Phoemela Baranda, Solenn Heussaff, Tessa Valdes, Divine Lee, Jasmine Maierhofer, Luke Jickain, Carlene Aguilar and Gov. Lray Villafuerte.
