Sandara Park shows quirky home as Acer ventures into home appliances
MANILA, Philippines — From laptops and mobile phones, technology company Acer adds a new entry to its portfolio: home appliances.
Sandara Park has been tapped as endorser of Acer’s new home appliances line, Acerpure, with a new commercial to which the Korean pop star “brings her iconic charm,” said the brand.
“At home, I set the rhythm,” she said in the commercial, where she could be seen cleaning, cooking and doing other household chores using Acerpure, an integrated solution aiming to offer high-efficiency technological lifestyle products.
The brand’s mission, said Sue Ong-Lim, Acer Philippines General Manager at Acerpure’s recent press launch, “is to provide technological innovations that can resolve various consumer concerns.”
“We want to create a home ecosystem for consumers to live with ease and comfort,” Ong-Lim said.
Through Integrated Technology, the products aim to go beyond cleaning and to ensure good health by making homes dirt-free, with breathable air and pure water. Smart Integration showcases app capabilities for easy control and monitoring via smartphones and other devices. The home essentials are also eco-friendly and engineered with the environment in mind for energy-efficient operations and minimal waste generation.
Included in the brand’s array is its Air Purifier Series. Acerpure Cozy projects air up to 15 meters away, completely circulating the air five times per hour to every corner of the home. Thanks to its 3D Airflow Technology, Cozy has a greater range and more concentrated airflow than a standard fan for improved indoor air circulation. It has a 12 touch-activated speed setting and 90-degree up/down, 95-degree left/right oscillating direction adjustment for easy, accurate control. It also helps save energy by eliminating uncomfortable temperature differences within the home, working with existing heating and air conditioning to adjust room temperature.
Meanwhile, Cool has a 4-in-1 HEPA filter that eliminates bacteria, allergens, and pollutants from the home to make the air healthier and fresher. This filter offers four-layer protection from unsafe air by removing pet hair and dander and 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as PM1.0 allergens, bacteria, formaldehyde, and odors.
For the Cleaning Series, there is Clean V1 because it is quieter and more effortless to use than other products. It combines lightness, convenience, and power in one gadget to clean every nook and cranny of your home. It is slim but powerful with a 1.5kg ultralight and cordless body, visual battery life with a running time of 60 minutes on a full charge, different modes for different cleaning usages, an electric power brush with hair-free technology, and four built-in LED lights.
Likewise, Clean V1 lite is lightweight at 550g with 13000Pa suction pressure power and a maximum of 15 minutes of cleaning time. It has a 2-in-1 usage, one button switch, a DC motor, and a USB type-C charger.
As part of Acerpure’s launch in the Philippines, Sandara joins as brand ambassador, perfectly representing its wholesome and clean qualities. SB19 and Team Payaman are also launching a web series for fans to enjoy.

Review: Acerpure Clean V1 is for both OC, lazy
Don’t have time or always too tired to clean? The Clean V1, as seen being used by Sandara in the commercial, is a cordless vacuum cleaner that could make life and cleaning easier for both the lazy and the OC (obsessive-compulsive).
It has a removable battery that one can charge like an Acer mobile phone. After a three-hour charging time, one can simply and easily return the battery into the vacuum cleaner and use the appliance for up to an hour of non-stop cleaning.
Alternatively, one can also just keep it anytime by one’s side and just use it any moment one sees dust. Since it is cordless, one can bring it anywhere, even outdoors to clean car carpets. Being cordless and lightweight makes the vacuum cleaner easy to use even when you are tired or not in the mood to clean, because you have one less worry about cords and nozzles getting tangled. One can even feel detoxed and a sense of achievement after cleaning with the tool.
The Clean V1 comes with several detachable nozzles that are easy to interchange, but are stable when used. There are small nozzles with different brushes for removing lint and bed bugs, as well as sucking dust in desktops. With these small nozzles, one does not have to move the figurines and other displays when cleaning display racks. The small nozzles are also effective at sucking ants and bugs creeping in walls. Hence, there is no need to prepare weird concoctions, spray insecticides or apply poisonous ant killer chalks in walls and floors!
For cleaning bigger spaces, there are also expandable bigger nozzles, one has a brush that easily picks up hair, even pet hair, and it has built-in LED (light emitting diode) lights for cleaning dark corners. The long nozzle is helpful for those who find it difficult to lean over when cleaning or to avoid back pain, especially for the elderly.
The gadget is easy to operate. It goes on and off with just one push of the button, unlike other vacuum cleaners that entail a hard push to stop. Like in an electric fan, the V1 has different suction modes that are also easy to navigate with just slight push of the button. You can use the mildest mode for easily reachable dirt and dust, the medium mode for sucking out bugs and ants, and the turbo mode for cleaning farther and harder to reach areas.
If there is a downside to the V1, however, the nozzles are already sleek but still, there are very small corners that the nozzles cannot fit in and even all the suction modes cannot pull in the dust and dirt from these small corners. In cases like this, one really has to move furniture so the V1 could get in to clean.
But no matter what suction mode you use, the V1 automatically does not suck small toys and sharp objects that can destroy the unit or make the toys mingle with dirt. It is also not as noisy or does not produce stressful jarring sounds as conventional vacuum cleaners do, so your neighbor might not know you are cleaning with a vacuum cleaner at all!
Also, the V1 is as easy to tidy up as it is to operate it. If you’re on the run and don’t have time to clean it, you can leave it standing in a corner, with all the dirt it sucked still inside the dirt container, and just return to clean it later. The dirt container, though, is steady but easy to take out of the body for cleaning. You can shoot the debris straight into the trashcan and return the container back into the body, or you can also wash the container with regular soap and water. Since the battery is removable, you can set it aside with no danger of short circuit while you clean the V1.
The nozzles and their brushes, too, are easy to clean. All hair are sucked right into the dirt container, so the nozzles and the brushes are always free from hair, which saves time in always picking up hair from them.
The V1 comes with a wall mount that you can bolt, although it is stable enough and does not fall over when just left leaning in a wall. Since it is white and sleek, it easily blends and complements any interior motif, unlike other vacuum cleaners that are a problem to store because not only are they bulky, but an eyesore!
Since Halloween is just around the corner, every cleaning time with the V1 could make one feel like a ghost buster!
