Much love for Mache

The ever-generous Mache Torres-Ackerman was recently feted with not one, but two celebrations in honor of her birthday, spearheaded by her devoted husband, David Ackerman, and attended by their loving children and lifelong friends in the business and social sectors.

The first was a surprise party masterfully planned by David held at the rooftop of City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City that resulted in many happy tears from the celebrator.

The second event, which was held at Cove Manila in Okada Manila in Parañaque City, was not just in commemoration of Mache’s birthday, but also the launch of her book entitled Explore the Deepest Essence of Your Being. It was attended by over 400 guests who all came dressed in white attire and feasted on a lavish buffet and overflowing wine and spirits.

One of the most unforgettable events of the evening was David serenading his wife and their guests with two ballads, which received a good round of applause from the crowd. Many happy returns, dear Mache!
