Robinsons Galleria, the flagship mall of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), showcased yet again its unfailing support to Filipino artists as it held another art exhibition. "Legacy: Beyond the Blood," the exhibit was recently mounted at the Level 3 Veranda of Robinsons Galleria.

The three grandchildren of three National Artists for visual arts — Carlos “Totong” Francisco II, grandson of Carlos “Botong” Francisco; Ronna Manansala, granddaughter of Vicente Manansala; and Marco “Macoy” Coching, grandson of Francisco Coching — continued their grandfathers’ legacy through their own art and style, proving that the greatest treasure one can pass on to the next generation is a legacy of passion, character, and creativity. 

Independencia: The flavors of Mindanao

Café Marco took their guests to a gastronomic exploration through Southern Philippines with Independencia: Flavors of Mindanao. Located in top-notch five-star hotel Marco Polo Plaza Cebu (MPPC) under the notable leadership of general manager Brian Connelly and director of sales and marketing Lara Constantino-Scarrow, Café Marco welcomed guests who were treated to an interesting mix of flavors and textures.

Marco Polo Davao executive chef Alex Destriza and senior cook King James Tinio also came by as guest chefs. It was an unforgettable commemoration of the best of Philippine cuisine.

Rotary Club of Makati Uptown (RCMU) past president and District 3830 district coordinating chair for public image Dr. Mildred Vitangcol was at the helm of the recently concluded 2019 District Recognition Ceremony held at the Tanghalang Haribon Auditorium in Insular Life Corporate Center in Pasay City.

Organized by the bighearted philanthropist and well-respected businesswoman Dr. Mildred together with event co-chair Rotary Club of Makati San Lorenzo past president Cynthia Reyes, the event was the district’s way of recognizing the outstanding achievements of the 2018-2019 Rotary Club leaders.

Aside from a Leadership Award, the Very Inspiring Presidents also received numerous trophies and certificates from Rotary District 3830 district governor Al Montecillo, who commended them for their exemplary performances.
