When a cowboy weds a stewardess: Neil Basubas and Diana Liao
The love story began when Diana Marie Liao was working as a flight attendant and Neil Basubas happened to be one of the passengers. Call it love at first sight but that encounter changed their lives forever.
Courtship followed until a few years later when Neil, a cowboy-at-heart, planned his proposal by asking his friends to ride along with him on horseback bearing banners that read “Will you marry me?”

Neil then galloped ahead toward Diana on a beautiful horse while dressed in comfortable cowboy attire, complete with cowboy hat, boots, belt buckle, western shirt and jeans. Diana was simply overwhelmed with joy, knowing well it took a lot of courage for Neil to express his love and commitment in front of his friends. The celebration continued with a fun dinner among their cowboy and cowgirl friends.
