Travel specialist Aida Uy, who is a consistent top awardee in airline and tourism-related services, recently tendered a dinner-dance reception in celebration of the golden years of her life.

Held at the well-appointed home of her son Troy Uy and his supportive wife Sheila, the lady of the hour — also supported by her son Mitchel Uy and wife Cathy and daughter Twinkle and husband Neil Warren Chu — welcomed everyone who came to mark the milestone with her.
Showing their appreciation for her unconditional support to PAL were airline executives led by Harry Inoferio, senior assistant vice president; Reyani Romano, area head for Visayas sales; Marijo Araneta, manager, Gorordo ticket office; and Tonette Bastasa, senior account officer. Korean Air’s passenger sales executive Ann Momongan was also present.

Also taking part in the celebration were her colleagues from the travel industry such as Caloy and Sheila Colmenares, Jaime and Gwen Po, Alan and Penny Carvajal, Chichi and Marget Villarica, and Cherry Callelero.
Family, friends and associates enjoyed a sumptuous dinner of international and Filipino favorites with flowing champagne and music, and danced to classic tunes. Before the evening went into full swing, the birthday cake was brought out and the much-liked celebrant made her wish, blew out the candles, thanked her guests and marked the beginning of another year.
