Waterfront Group of Hotels, located in uptown Cebu and in the island of Mactan, is dedicated to indulging all the senses of the discerning traveller.

Complementing the accommodation facilities and exemplary service are several restaurants each with its own Western and Asian specialty.

One such popular outlet is Uno, an international buffet and a la carte cafe and restaurant that is  adjacent to the imposing hotel lobby. Currently on going is a festival of flavors  that  creates a unique twist on classic Filipino and Cebuano fare. The special culinary event, “Uno’s Modern Filipino Taste: A Filipino Feast for All Senses” will run till mid August. The affair  brings together the celebrated husband-and-wife team of chefs Roland and Jackie Laudico as they craft innovations on classic Filipino and Cebuano cuisine.

Their advocacy to promote native Filipino flavors has given them local and international fame and runs parallel to the philosophy that stirs and inspires the F&B outlets at The Waterfront Group of Hotels. The hotel has always prided itself in presenting a host of culinary cultures in its many outlets. Uno leads its portfolio of F&B outlets.

With  an extensive all-day buffet of delightful international and Filipino culinary favorites, Uno has become Waterfront’s must-visit destination  for food enthusiasts in Cebu and Davao. The dining outlet’s famous buffet offers Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, American and International dishes created by its innovative chefs. It comes as no surprise that Uno has become the preferred dining address of business and corporate individuals in search of great-tasting food and quick service.

Guests and food enthusiasts will, no doubt, find enjoyment in the many tasty treats included in the festival, such as Sisig Baskets topped with garlic aioli, Palabok Bites with Carcar Chicharon and tamarind-spiced kangkong chips with bangus mousse to whet the appetite.

There are also cold appetizers such as Kinilaw Spoons, stuffed with Laing Mousse and Shrimps, and Sushi-Noy. Hearty soups include Nilarang Bouillabaisse and Pochero Corn Chowder.

And for heftier appetites, a list of filling and delicious entrees await, among them the Kaldereta Pie, Balbacua Uno, San Miguel Battered Fish with buro cream, among others.
