A night of wine & fine food at Cebu’s Pino Restaurant

A good deal of hard work and close attention to detail produced a really successful Chaine des Rotisseurs Spanish-themed dinner held at the newly renovated  Pino restaurant.

Joel del Prado, CEO and managing partner of Pino, hosted the event with a champagne reception where tapas were served.

The dining experience started with chicken croquettes, mushrooms crostini and scallops au gratin, which awakened all the senses; and sopa de ajo, the Castilian garlic and bread soup, which was soothing and utterly calming. The extensive buffet  that consisted of  lamb shank caldereta, callos, pastel de lengua  and chicken with artichokes was complemented with a variety of excellent wines, which made for a wonderful combination of flavors.

The dinner menu, wines, beautiful setting and impeccable service blended with an atmosphere of joy, friendship and warmth. Michel Lhuillier, member of the Conseil Magistral, Bailli Delegue, and his wife Amparito, Bailli of Cebu, were delighted at the success of the event, which made everyone realize how fortunate they were to be members of the Chaine.
