Smart and sensible choices at Robinsons Communities

MANILA, Philippines – It’s perhaps one of the most important decisions you’ll have to make in your adult life. Buying your first home requires deliberate thought and careful consideration. With a good number of options available out there, you cannot afford not to be aware and be adequately informed.

“We offer affordable quality condominiums,” says Maybelle Aragon-Gobio, senior vice-president of Robinsons Communities, a division of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), one of the leading real estate companies in the country. “The emphasis is on both quality and affordability. With 20 years of homebuilding experience, RLC has the track record of a publicly listed company and a respected name behind it.”

“Quality is something we will not compromise,” Aragon-Gobio remarks. “We also understand the requirements of an emerging market that is budget conscious while looking for the best deal. It’s the millennial market that know what they want and are more particular about their preferences. They are more demanding and they are smart with their choices.”

Robinsons Communities currently has 22 residential developments located in key areas in the metro that are close to workplaces, schools, as well as leisure centers. There are Robinsons Communities in Ortigas, Greenhills, Muntinlupa, Mandaluyong, Cubao, and Pasig City.

“We are not at the heart of the central business districts but comfortably close enough,” says Teddy Bernas, assistant vice-president for business development. “We are usually in the peripheries of CBDs, or if not, we make sure we are easily accessible through public transport, whether jeepney, bus, or train.”

“Affordability means coming up with the correct unit sizes,” Bernas says. “We have studio, one bedroom and two bedroom units in mid-rise and high-rise buildings. All units would have windows that let in natural light.”

“We also offer bare units. This allows us to lower the price points so the entry level is much easier and more affordable,” Aragon-Gobio explains. “We put in the essentials, such as the toilet and bath as well as the kitchen complete with counter tops, while the cement floor would be ready to receive tiles or parquet or whatever the buyer prefers when they are ready with their finances. They can also add the partitions for the one and two bedroom units, while we can suggest a layout for them. The unit is already livable when they come in. They just need to put in the furniture.”

Robinsons Communities provides wide open spaces whenever possible, such as in the mid-rise developments where unit owners can have their own garden as part of the amenities. For the high-rises, they’ve come up with sensible amenities that unit owners can use such as a swimming pool, gym, and a family room for indoor type of entertainment.

“We also like to provide unit owners with everyday conveniences,” Bernas says. “Most of our projects are designed with a retail facility such as supermarkets and convenience stores as well as banks and other service facilities.” What is unique to Robinsons Communities would be the Ring Rob digital concierge. “It’s a unique product in itself,” Aragon-Gobio says. Ring Rob offers up to 50 different household services, ranging from housekeeping, laundry, carwash, repairs and preventive maintenance, storage, trucking, and online food delivery.

There is also the Robinsons Lifestyle Card, which is an all-access lifestyle card for members. “We like to leverage on our diversified portfolio, not just with the residential but also our synergies with commercial centers,” Aragon-Gobio remarks. “A lifestyle card holder would get discounts from our merchants. They can even get Cebu Pacific points when they avail of our Ring Rob concierge services.”

“We like to prolong our relationship with our buyers through the services that we offer. We make sure that we are there long after you’ve accepted the unit. We want you to be happy with your choice,” Aragon-Gobio says. “We want to emphasize what the brand stands for. Robinsons Communities is your smart and sensible choice.”
