The guests at a high-tea event held at Jewelmer Joaillerie’s Glorietta 4 boutique were in for a special treat as Jacques Christophe Branellec, Jewelmer’s executive vice president and deputy CEO, gave the “Pearl Talk,” assisted by executive marketing manager Tricie Legarda and executive retail manager Tess Catedral. Jacques Christophe, who grew up in the business, is very familiar with the process from beginning to end — from breeding the oysters, how it takes five to six years to harvest a single pearl and the world-class craftsmanship by Filipino craftsmen behind every single Jewelmer Joaillerie piece. Jacques Christophe also revealed that aside from the 12 boutiques they have nationwide, Jewelmer pieces are now present in five continents in over 15 countries — another reason why we should be proud of the South Sea Pearl, the Philippine National Gem. After the very interesting and informative talk, lovely models showed off some exquisite Jewelmer pieces to the delight of the crowd. A raffle of a Golden South Sea Pearl Pendant set in 18K gold and exclusive privileges for the attendees added to the excitement.
