An affair to remember

The Makati Shangri-La Hotel’s Rizal Ballroom was teeming with special friends from the international community’s diplomatic-consular corps as everyone came dressed to the nines at the 39th Annual Consular Ball.  A delegation comprised of members of the federation of consuls led by Consular Corps in Bangladesh president Asif Chowdhury flew in all the way from Bangladesh to present a gift to the corps.  Ballroom dancing to live band music and countless raffle draws spiced up the evening.  An array of exciting prizes that included airline tickets to prime local and foreign destinations, jewelry, gift certificates to luxury hotels and island resorts were given away to the delight of the esteemed guests. We are grateful to the tireless members of the Consular Corps of the Philippines especially to Consular Ball chairperson and Monaco Consul general Fortune Ledesma and her co-chairs Gambia Consul Agnes Huibonhoa, US Consul General Donna Blair, and Tanzania Consul Betty Ang as well as the numerous donors and sponsors with CATS Motors, Inc., led by its president Felix Ang, as major sponsor.
