The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino basketball fans were in for a smashing treat as the National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar Kevin Love alongside local cagers, headed by Philippine Basketball Association’s (PBA) Chris Tiu and Marc Pingris, showed off their impressive hardcourt skills during the “Master Game Face All Star Challenge Year 2.” The said event, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, featured an all-star game between Team Chris and Team Marc, with the two Master brand ambassadors going all out to coach their respective teams composed of basketball stars from the PBA, University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). While in the country, the six-year NBA veteran took part in the cause-oriented activities organized by Master — a basketball skills clinic for a number of kids of the Manila Boystown Complex in Marikina and a charity auction at the Fairmont Makati to raise funds for the refurbishing of a basketball court inside the Manila Boystown Complex.
