ANC airs Philippine STAR’s first lifestyle television program, ‘Modern Living TV’
MANILA, Philippines - Modern Living TV, a new lifestyle television show, will start airing today on ANC at 6 p.m. Presented by The Philippine STAR and hosted by STAR Lifestyle columnists Stephanie Zubiri and Bianca Gonzalez, every 30-minute themed episode of Modern Living TV features modern and innovative architecture, captivating interiors, and dream-like real estate properties existing in the country. More than just delivering eye candy in the form of breathtaking living spaces and other elements of modern living, the show will present informative and entertaining segments that feature the hottest lifestyle trends.
Modern Living is the very popular Saturday Lifestyle section in The Philippine STAR. It features more urban spaces, trends in interior design and developments in real estate. According to STAR’s SVP for sales and marketing Lucien Dy Tioco, the section is popular because it has seasoned columnists led by Paolo Alcazaren. Lifestyle editor is Millet Mananquil.
Ever at the forefront of innovation, the STAR further enhances its reach through other platforms — now it takes a step further with the TV program. “Modern Living TV is pushing the envelope where we have a passion for innovation. STAR Lifestyle, has always been an authority in trailblazing all the latest trends in fashion, food or in architecture and interior design; so the lure of producing a TV show using Modern Living has been very tempting for us since it’s an opportunity to spread content into different formats,” says Dy Tioco.
The first six episodes of Modern Living TV will tackle the following subjects: “In the City,” “Newlyweds,” “Active Play,” “Green Living,” “Single Living,” and “Old Meets New.”
Modern Living TV has 13 episodes that will run every Saturday starting today until October 2014. Modern Living TV will air on ANC and TFC every Saturday at 6 p.m., with replays on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
