PAL fetes travel and tour partners
The top management of Philippine Airlines recently honored its most outstanding travel and tour partners for the Visayas and Mindanao 2014 with a gala dinner held at the Grand Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The much-anticipated reception took on a black-and-white theme with the ladies wearing elegant black cocktail dresses and evening gowns while the gentlemen were debonair in dark tailored suits.
Daryl Shane Leong shared an inspiring invocation followed by a brief warm welcome by PAL OIC sales Philippines Salvador Britanico Jr.
The top awardees for passenger sales international were Travelways International represented by Alan Carvajal, Pan Asia World Holidays, Inc. by Cria Marie and Imelda Pasquil, and Global Link Travel and Tours by Jeanne Yu Teh.
The silver awardees were Jerome Mendaros of Uni-Orient Travel, Cipriano Edayan of House of Travel, Margette Villarica of Destination Specialists Cebu, and Aida Uy of Cebu Fortune Travel. Six travel agencies brought home the bronze plaques. They were FCM Travel Services, Pan Pacific Travel, Grand Holidays, Grand Hope, Global Charter and Worldwide Travel and Tours.
For the airlines domestic ticketing program, the lone recipient of the elite gold award went to Marget Villarica of Destination Specialist. Gold awards from Mindanao were Romano Travel and Tours led by Rosendo and Elsie Romano and John Gold Aviation Services by John and Jessica Baricuatro. For the Visayas, topping the list were Mark Anthony Uy of Shaman Air, Concepcion Casenas of Tagbilaran Able Enterprise and Cecilia Francisco of Gidcel’s Travel and Tours.
The PAL group led by Salvador Britanico Jr., Cris Lebumfacil, OIC area head Visayas, Noel Herico, OIC area head Mindanao and Antonio Herrera, AVP passenger sales Philippines, presented the awards.
The lively affair ended with an upbeat dance number by PAL executives Pam Quizeo Samson, OIC district sales Visayas-Mindanao, Marijo Araneta and Emily Parawan, sales services managers, and Honey Ortiz, Herman Garganera and Eros Caga-anan, account officers. Special guest performer was singer Eric Santos.
