Cebu Holdings Inc., the premier real estate developer, marked its silver anniversary with the soft opening of Lifestyle Destination, Ayala Center Cebu’s biggest expansion. Almost two decades since it opened its doors to the Cebuanos, Ayala Center comes full circle with some of the biggest retail brands and more amenities for its discriminating market.
Located at the southeastern part of the Ayala Center Cebu superblock, the four-level new expansion adds a wider leasable area and is seamlessly connected to the existing mall. With this major expansion, the city’s icon of style is poised to bring cosmopolitan shopping to even greater heights.
More than 40 shops opened in time for the holiday season with premier brands Philip Stein, Sledgers, Evernew, Yves Rocher, Superdry and temporary exhibits of Cary Santiago, Vito Selma and GAP opening at level one.
Other noteworthy brands are Bambu, British India, Just G, Shoe Salon, Keds, Sperry Topsiders, Mossimo, Delsey and Muji at the second level, while Projekt, Howards Storage World, PJs Sleepwear, Toys R Us, Aerophone and Asian Home Appliance are located at level three.
The fourth level will feature carefully selected dining outlets, such as Starbucks, Ulli’s Seafood Island, the Suite Room, Fudge and Idea Italia.
A chapel among the rooftop gardens will also be opened on this floor allowing patrons a quiet solace amid the bustling metropolis.
For the convenience of patrons and shoppers, the new expansion has a total of 884 additional parking slots with its three-level basement parking, which is connected to the current basement parking space of the mall.
Over a hundred more shops will soon open completing this exciting new shopping destination. Top brands including Zara, Basic House, Rustan’s Fresh and Rustan’s Department Store are few of the shops to look forward to in the coming months.
An impressive, well-lit atrium at the first level, called the Gallery, will soon house intimate events from world-class performing artists. An additional high-definition audio-video cinema will also open to the public at the fourth level.
Additional amenities to enhance the customer experience include a concierge desk at the first level, a family lounge with a breast-feeding nook, a customer lounge and valet parking.
The new wing is inspired by world-class architecture from the facade to the interiors. It also has sustainable fixtures, LED and energy-saving lights, and clerestory windows to allow natural lighting.
With this newest addition, Ayala Center Cebu marks the completion of the retail master plan of the mall with a stimulating take on the brand that Cebuanos have loved through the years.
