CBRE Philippines garners two global industry citations
MANILA, Philippines -CBRE Philippines has been recognized as the world’s Best Lettings/Leasing Agency for the second straight year, while it has also added a new feather to its cap as world’s Best Property Consultancy Website for 2013.
The awards are conferred by the renowned International Property Awards (IPA), a London-based organization that recognizes outstanding firms, projects and services in the global residential and commercial real estate industry for close to 20 years now.
CBRE Philippines is the lone company to win two international awards this year, competing against representative entries from Africa, Europe, the Americas, United Kingdom and the Middle East. It is also the sole Philippine company in the history of the awards to have won in the international level of competitions for two consecutive years.
The citation on the firm’s website and digital marketing also illustrates an increasingly sophisticated real estate market, where bridging the gap between people and technology is crucial.
“We are proud to share this honor with the Filipino people. It feels good that we are once again recognized as one of the best real estate companies globally, which is great news for the country after the adversity we have faced in recent months,†explained Rick Santos, CBRE chairman and founder.
“We have been in the industry for 20 years and have centered our business around people, platform, and performance. We have always placed quality of service at the forefront and our employees make sure to provide our clients the best experience possible. These awards are a testament to CBRE Philippines’ long-term dedication and belief in the Philippine real estate market as a destination for international investors and outsourcing companies,†he added.
CBRE Philippines has been instrumental in bringing in and servicing the largest institutional investors to the country such as HSBC, Accenture, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America, to name a few. The company has also worked closely with the country’s established developers such as SM, Ayala Land, Megaworld, and Century Properties, to name a few.
Earlier this year, CBRE Philippines won a total of 10 awards in the national and regional levels. Last year, the real estate services company won four national awards, and went on to win as World’s Best Lettings Agency.
“We are extremely pleased to note the increasing presence and success of entries from the Philippines in the International Property Awards,†affirmed Stuart Shield, president of the IPA. “CBRE Philippines’ landmark win is a welcome affirmation of the continuing growth of the local property market and its world-class potential.â€
