A magical Christmas
Spend an enchanting, dazzling yuletide celebration at Filinvest City’s “Inspiring Christmas Magic†at The Piazza right beside the Filinvest Tent in Alabang. A spectacular show of lights set to music and a food and retail market happens nightly until Dec 30. Filinvest Alabang, Inc. (FAI) president and CEO Josephine Gotianun-Yap hopes this festive Christmas light show and larger-than-life Yuletide decorations will bring back smiles among us following the devastation brought by super typhoon Yolanda. Said Christmas kick-off was dedicated to further the company’s commitment to support the rehabilitation of the Visayas.
Joining Gotianun-Yap at the kick-off ceremonies were FAI director Michael Gotianun and executive vice president Kate Ilagan. This is surely one place worth a visit this holiday season. See you there!
‘Tis the season of sharing
Helping spread the holiday cheers in the Queen City of the South is Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, the finest 5-star destination in the city under the helm of general manager and Marco Polo Hotels, Philippines area general manager Hans Hauri, as it held its traditional lighting of the Tree of Hope. With this year’s theme as Magic of Christmas, the ceremony had the Cebu Centre for Dance entertaining the audience with a beautiful ballet presentation featuring everyone’s favorite fairy tale princesses. Christmas carols courtesy of the Celestial Voices Chorale and gifts from Mr. and Mrs. Claus added extra cheer to the heartwarming yuletide activity. As it continues its partnership with the GMA Kapuso Foundation, MPPC will be accepting Tree of Hope donations until January 5 where donations of P200 per Christmas ball will be allotted to the foundation’s relief operations for those affected by the calamities that happened in Visayas. Congratulations to Hans and the entire Marco Polo Plaza Cebu team for this worthwhile endeavor!
A heartwarming Christmas at The Bellevue Manila
The spirit of giving lives on this yuletide season as southern Metro’s top-notch symbol of 5-star hospitality, The Bellevue Manila, held its annual tree-lighting and gift-giving activity at the hotel’s opulent main wing lobby. Spearheaded by the indefatigable The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts (BH&R) team led by chairman Johnny Chan and sons, managing director Patrick Chan and marketing and communications corporate director Ryan Chan, the lovely affair featured The Bellevue Chorale as they serenaded the guests with wonderful renditions of well-loved Christmas carols. Making the event more special is the hotel’s partnership with this year’s chosen beneficiary, the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s The Haven for Children in Alabang, in selecting 10 outstanding boys who will receive the gifts they have on their wish list. Aside from the top 10 boys, the rest of The Haven’s children will each receive a pair of rubber shoes. Kudos to Johnny, Patrick and Ryan Chan and the entire The Bellevue Manila team for staging this wonderful affair!
