(CPPI) as it held a mid-year conference at the Quezon City Sports Club with the theme “Looking Beyond the Challenges.†Delegates from different parts of the country were warmly welcomed to the one-day event by the hardworking CPPI board of directors led by its president and Zambia consul Luis “Louie†Ablaza, Jr. The conference speakers led by Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary and guest of honor Manuel “Mar†Roxas II, Philippine National Police (PNP) Police Community Relations Group director chief superintendent Sonny Yanga David and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Integrated Supervision Division II deputy director Ma. Belinda Caraan discussed key issues affecting the pawnbroking industry in the country.
