MANILA, Philippines - It was a night of fun, Spanish tapas, sangrias, and fascinating flamenco as guests reveled at the launch of Marriott Hotel Manila’s “Gastronomia de España,†a month-long Spanish food festival showcasing the food, wine and passion of Spain. Guest chef Victor Burgos of Valladolid, Spain tickled the taste buds of each guest with mouth-watering jamon Iberico, jamon Serrano, manchego cheese, pintxos, arroz con leche, and other Spanish delights. Completing the ambience were flamenco dancers flown all the way from Spain with their strong and graceful performance showcasing their percussive footwork with intricate hand and body movements.
