Jobstreet.com hosts Cavite career fair
MANILA, Philippines - After back-to-back job fairs in the National Capital Region and Northern Mindanao in April, JobStreet.com, the No. 1, went Southern Luzon in May.
Dasmariñas City Rep. Elpidio “Pidi†Barzaga Jr. attended the event and was joined by lawyer John Rio Bautista, chief of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA)-Workers’ Education Division, and JobStreet.com’s Yoda Buyco and Carolyn Enriquez, marketing director and senior marketing manager respectively.
Cavite is home to more than three million Filipinos and is considered the most populous province (if independent cities from Cebu and Negros Occidental are excluded). Also, as a highly urbanized province, it contributes to South Luzon Region’s total of 1.67 million white collar jobseekers and 3.1 million blue collar jobseekers.
