Adding another feather to its cap is the country’s leading real estate development authority, Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) led by president and COO Frederick Go, as it received two 5-star commendations at the recently concluded “2013 International Property Awards†for Asia Pacific held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dubbed as the Best Mixed-Use Development in the Philippines was Magnolia Town Center, a five-hectare property comprised of Robinsons Magnolia mall and The Magnolia Residences located in New Manila, Quezon City. On the other hand, Signa Designer Residences, the country’s first designer residences located in Salcedo Village, Makati, was cited as the Best Residential High-Rise Development in the Philippines. The said recognitions were received by Robinsons Land Corporation senior vice president for Robinsons Residences and Robinsons Luxuria Mybelle Aragon-Gobio and Robinsons Land Corporation assistant vice president for Business Development Trina Cipriano.

A group of exceptional ladies gave a surprise dinner for their good friend 2010 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines awardee Salome Uy at her favorite dining place —The Tivoli at the Mandarin Oriental, Manila, popular for its innovative European cuisine, outstanding wine cellar and stunningly elegant setting. Yes, it was a strictly-for-the-ladies affair, but with such gorgeous ladies inviting yours truly, how could I ever refuse? It was lovely swapping anecdotes of past Best Dressed as the holding of the 10th annual September ball is coming up soon.
Welcome to the family
Family and friends gathered at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati to witness the baptism of Aiden Lazaro, first born child of lovely couple Jet and Shelly Lazaro. It was indeed a meaningful day for the Lazaro family as baby Aiden was formally welcomed to the Christian community by none other than the healing priest, Fr. Fernando Suarez. Reception followed at Ballroom B of Dusit Thani Manila where a sumptuous lunch, prepared by the hotel’s talented chefs, awaited everyone. Among Aiden’s godparents present at the intimate gathering were business tycoons Milk Wang and Benjamin Wu, actor Jeffrey Santos, Triple V owner Maridel Villavicencio, TV hosts Christine Bersola-Babao and Chiqui Roa-Puno, and model-actress Angel Aquino.
