Cabalen goes international with new branch in California

San Bruno is located in the San Francisco/Bay Area and is home to a big population of Filipino-Americans.

Cabalen president Maritel Nievera says Cabalen in San Bruno offers the same authentic Filipino dishes as the branches in the Philippines. Now they can sample favorite dishes such as kare-kare (stewed ox tail in peanut sauce), sisig (cut-up pieces of ear served on a sizzling plate) and lechon (roast pig).
