Bric’s: Hollywood’s new favorite luggage brand
MANILA, Philippines - When Hollywood makes a move, the entire world watches. This is most certainly true of fashion. Whenever a celebrity sports a brand or mentions preference, ladies from Montreal to Munich, Melbourne and Manila are sure to follow suit and get a piece of their favorite star’s wardrobe.
Bric’s was founded in 1952 by Mario Briccola. Championing the “made in Italy†tag for classy, high-quality leather goods, the brand continues to operate in its headquarters near Lake Como.
Bric’s bags are a favorite among Hollywood’s A-listers. The Italian leather goods brand has been featured in several movies. In the 2010 thriller The Tourist, Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp’s character) is seen around Venice with his dark brown Bric’s duffel bag. Bric’s Life collection is the luggage of choice of the honeymooning Edward and Bella Cullen with pieces such as the Tuscan Cosmetics Case, 21-inch carry on rolling duffel bag, and the deluxe garment bag featured in the film adaptation of the Twilight novel Breaking Dawn.
