A festive Italian evening
Family gatherings are always a great way to catch up with each other’s activities and plans, just like what many families do at Caruso Ristorante Italiano. With locations at the Makati Central Business District and the newest in the paradise island of Boracay, the fine dining Italian restaurant is a delightful place to visit with its elegant interiors that exude a very warm ambiance, fit for any occasion. Through its owners Emilio Mina and Dario Gardini and his team, families will have a great time over Italian treats such as Misto di affettati italiani e verdure marinate (assorted Italian cold cuts) and scaloppine di vitello in salsa di limone (veal slices in lemon sauce, Australian meat).
Truly, Caruso is one of those places which can turn any simple family dinner into one event that will be treasured forever.
Caruso Ristorante Italiano is at LRI Building, Bel Air, Makati. For information, call 895-2451. Check out their new location at Station 2 in Boracay Island.
The tradition lives on in Cebu
The Queen City of the South recently bloomed with so much color, culinary delights and endless joy for everyone present during the annual Sinulog Festival 2013. This year, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu (MPPC), led by the general manager Hans Hauri, took it up a notch higher with a series of activities and treats for everyone. The Sugbusog 2013: Street Food Classics, dubbed as the “Best Buffet in the City†kick started the fete with Filipino street food served in a five-star setting followed by an antique Sto. Niño exhibit that showcased a rare collection of images of the child Jesus. Guests also enjoyed the specially-made-for-Sinulog Fiesta Ensaimada at Café Marco which was recently voted as the fifth best restaurant in the Philippines.
